Burger, Fries & Soda = NO CORN!
I stumbled across a new burger joint today.
Imagine this: I had a burger with cheese, an order of fries and a soda and did not ingest any HFCS or other corn products or byproducts. The place has clean, the staff was friendly and the customers were not obese. Basically, it was the polar opposite of your average fast-food-burger-joint. It's nice to see option like this pop up and I hope they survive and thrive. If there is one in your area, I'd recommend checking out Elevation Burger. http://www.elevationburger.com/EB.php#home

How are their prices compared to average fast food joints?

Friends of ours (ok...wife's friends) have a little chicken place along the same lines. Except they make no promise of any natural queer hippy crap.
They do quite well and we are very happy for them since they just opened up the place last summer. Small business owners FTW until they are crushed by the mighty ban hammer that is industry...or I just dont feel like shopping there anymore because Stop and Shop\Costcos\BJ's\Thumb and Anus Whistle Inc has it cheaper. |

More expensive but you should expect that. I had the Elevation Burger. It was a double cheese burger and I think it was $6. With fries and a drink it was about $10. The fries were a BIG order and could serve about 3 people.

There's one less than a mile from our Austin office that I've eaten at a few times. It's a really good burger I think for *fast food*.
2 thumbs up with your recommendation.

None in Ohio, but PA has a couple locations that I watch for if I'm traveling.
I don't eat fast food burgers so this would be an option for me since it's "good for you". Thanks for the recommendation! |
