is your TV ready?
so Houston is one of the first large cities to go all digital w/ TV signals in the next few weeks.
news said something like ~17% of the population ran rabbit ears and ~8% weren't sure if their TV's would "decode" a digital signal. basicailly if you have cable/DSL type cable (uverse)/satalite your good togo so are you ready?

Ed, I doubt many people that use an internet forum are still using rabbit ears. For those that are, it's doubtful they are so technology dumb they haven't noticed the 15,000 public service messages about needing a digital converter if you still watch over-the-air TV.

my only problem with this is that if their is a power outage or natural disaster you can't run your tv off a generator or use the portable ones that run off batteries. hopefully everyone has plenty of batteries for their radio to get potential life saving messages

you have to buy a special decoder box, of course the gov't will pay for it $40-80
