I take it you live in alaska Ebbs?

I wonder if airplane tix are cheaper flying in there now? I always wanted to go and how cool would it be to be there during an erruption!

Ebbs, if it happens while you are there, get me a film roll bottle of the ash. I still have my Mt Spurr Ash from when it happened while I was there.

It's not cool, it's an extreme health hazard if the ash falls on where you are at. It was insane when Mt Spurr dumped on Anchorage, and how much time we were forced to stay inside. I would suggest people stay away.

I was stationed there for 3 years before coming to Korea... just gotta go back there for a week to pack up all my stuff and drive down to Mississippi where I'll be next.

yeah no doubt...

my sister wanted to know what to do... she's like... do I have to wrap the motor in something to keep the ash out?

I said well think of it as snow... it'll get on everything that snow does... you can cover the car if you want... but useless if your going to be going anywhere... just go buy extra air filters for the truck. and try to park under an over hang so ash doesn't go everywhere when you get in the truck.

but yeah everywhere is sold out of those little medical or painters masks... I'm gonna grab a dozen or so to take with me in case...
