Sounds like a place I need to check out. I've driven in a cage from Boone to Bristol on 421(I think it was 421) so this is the same area ?

Cool...thanks. I just happened upon it while caging it and didn't know that was shady valley that I hear some speak of.

Jay and Lisa from Boone Action Cycles are friends of one of the WOS members, so we had a nice guided tour of all the good stuff down that way.

Anyone form here going to be up at shady tomorrow? Thinking of riding up from Winston on 89 to 58 then over to Demascas and Shady, then back down 421 to mountain city to Boone, then 321.

Not sure if I'm taking the tard or the R1 though

R1 convention in town this weekend. I guess im going to ride out with some locals. Think we are going out Damascus into VA up 16 a ways and back. Meeting at the store at like 10 am in the morning. Hope to so you, been a long ass time.
