Default Young kids on motorcycles

Our pal Sputnik is back at the Capital:

Sad to see that our main "lobbyist" on the Hill is a dude breathing via an oxygen tank with the word "Free" tattooed on his forehead.

to me the dude looks like a fucktard. way I see it, if they can reach teh footpegs and have something to hold onto, they can ride(assuming the appropriate safety gear of course)

Yeah, and Sputnik would want the parents to be able to choose whether or not their kids have to wear those awful, vision restricting helmets.

Big difference between letting your kid ride a dirt bike vs. having him hang on the back going down the freeway IMO. I'd love to introduce my son to dirt biking when the time comes (he's only 6 mos. old now), but have no plans to ever give him a ride on the back of my street bike.

I agree, Spudnik looks like an idiot. To think that he represents TX motorcyclists is scary.

I agree with that but I don't let anyone ride on the back. Got the rear cowl on and got rid of the pegs.

Followed a busa with what looked to be a 10 year old boy riding pullion a few days ago.

His dad wasn't riding fast, but he wasn't going slow.

I saw no problem with it. Kid was geared up and enjoying himself.
