The one time I was actually happy about a the weight of a 83 CB750 back in the early 90's. Can't remember the year or hurricane but it did suck.

I got caught in the same down pour only it was tapering off when I left work. It was raining so hard I couldn't see my cycle in the parking lot from 75 feet away.

The ride home was joy too. Riding thru water 4"-6" deep ( some places were 6"-8" deep ) only to get to the intersection and have the fire police send me the long way home because the water was too deep

This morning there was softball size rocks in the road from being washed out of the gutters. Plus all the normal tree debris and shit in the road.

As I say at work, 40 mpg isn't free
