My Hawk has been idling funny for the past couple of weeks. Thinking about a carb rebuild. Any suggestions?

I have a a set of carbs for sale that will fit a Hawk GT that I won during a poker match watching Faber vs Brown down in Florida. A friend had a Hawk GT and was in middle of building a track bike. All night it was questions on what should he do for his first track day.
I came close to losing my GPS I that picked up the day before going to Elite Trackdays and kept in my eclipse luggage.
