Well I finally saw it. Not really impressed. I'm not a fan of cinéma vérité to start with, so that fake documentary business doesn't sit well with me. Add to it a character that it's hard to sympathize with and it's pretty much done for me.

Not to mention plot holes you could drive a truck through, and people acting in ways that defied all possible logic
Visuals were good, but aside from that it was pretty meh. i did think it was interesting that the Nigerians were depicted as being almost as foreign and inhuman as the prawns, though...

I saw it yesterday, I enjoyed it. Typical Sci-Fi movie, interesting storyline, believable characters, it had a message, but it never interfered with the story, some kick ass alien weapons too.
