I fucking hate thieves. Someone was casing my neighborhood this past Saturday. Knocked on my neighbors door, gave a sob story about his wife being in a car accident and he needed gas money to get to the hospital an hour away.
My neighbor gave him the money, then saw him and his friends outside their house later. Asked what was up and he said he lost his phone. She asked for the number and tried to call it, but it was busy. Asked again and he gave her a different number. When she called him out, his friend said he found it in the truck and the guy left. They found out later the guy was going around to houses doing that shit and if people weren't home, he'd either break into the house or any car out in the driveway. Fuckin piece of shit. |

That sucks, one good thing I can say about El Paso is their PD. My truck was broken into when I first moved here, they stole my CD player, radar detector and dirty laundry. Total of about $400 worth of stuff. The PD was out in a matter of minutes, they brushed my vehicle for prints, searched the neighborhood for any discarded stuff, did random patrols for the next few months, checked local pawn shops for my stuff and kept me informed on what if anything they found. I'm not in a fancy neighborhood by any means, in fact I border the ghetto but the El Paso PD was rocking. Other than that this city is shit.
