And as far as the hood? Ehh. I grew up around drag racing so it isn't that over the top for me. What I hate (and have seen) is a pretty stock type car or truck with a pro stock hood scoop driving down the road. THAT is overkil. LOL

And Im still unsure what is wrong, the posted e.t. or the hp. And while I agree 8.50 is out of the equation period, I too was thinking that should be a 700+hp package.

Stock mustangs weigh 3400lbs. this one has a lighter hood, wheels, no exhaust, emissions or AC components(and I assume rear seat), so even with the cage and auto tranny, it should still be close to the 3400lb original.

Car and Driver is reporting 11.5s at 130mph.

Sub 9 seconds with only 475 hp in a 3300 + pound Mustang ain't happening.

Maybe in the 1/8th ?

My Vette has more power and weighs less and it still 'ain't' happening.
