I had this kinda sick premonition that John Hopkins would be called in early. Dunno why but I did. Suzuki should have known better not to have him standing by. And they should be worried about what to do when he gets ejected from the hot seat GSV-R...

If it had happened even a day earlier, hopper would have rode at losail. All word says he will ride at jerez and hopefully won't be needed after that. Bsb kicks off in a month and alvaro is vowing to be back in mere weeks

Gotta give it to suzuki though, I liked that the garage was open and that they had still hired girls

I'll believe it when I see it....riding a few weeks after a broken femur is a big ask....Tony Elias did it...but I don't remember how long it was between the injury and when he rode again....I'd have to go back and look.

This was the first race in the MotoGP class that Suzuki hasn't participated in since 1975. They didn't participate in that race due to a spat over rules...boycott.
