Default 6/5/2011 DS Ride

Spent a day out on the local minimum maintenance roads:

That snapping turtle was pissed that we disturbed his Sunday walk!

We only gave him the big flat surface of a MX boot sole. I know those buggers bite hard, but I'd be surprised if he could get through that.

Temps were hitting 100 that day, and there was no water near that spot. Not sure where he came from or where he was headed, but I hope he didn't dry out too badly in the process. We dumped some water on him.

Oh I don't think he was gonna get through - just that he'd latch on and not let go

Imagine walking around with a turtle stuck to your foot all day

Handle every stressful situation like a DOG: If you can't eat it or hump it, pi$$ on it & walk away.

Snappers are prety indestructable, I think he would be fine out of water for a while, just needs a cool place to hide out in that heat.
