I have heard virginia is one of the worst states for speeders. it sounds like a great idea and would make the trip to the gap a lot more fun/bearable but amonster speeding ticket from an over zealous VA cop isnt worth it.

Over 15mph of the posted limit or anything over 80mph is reckless in VA..
So yes those 45mph stretches of roads do sneak up on you and they don't care you didn't see the sign. Buddy got tagged for 83 in a 55 a couple yrs ago. They were talking about a $1,500 and a month in jail. When his lawyer told him that he thought he was joking, and told him its a speeding ticket, I didn't rob anyone. |
