That is the dumbest aspect to this article, Blast never had caffeine in it.

"Remember that caffeinated booze drink? Now there is another one, only without caffeine! Holy hell!"

Although I have enjoyed a few Sparks in the past my caffeinated boozy drink of choice remains sambuca and coffee.

Deliciously so. If you order it in a restaurant/bar as a coffee with a buca straight up though it is traditionally brought out in a glass with 3 coffee beans (for luck) and lit on fire. Make sure you tell them you don't want it with the beans or fire.

Well, the story on the three beans is sketchy. It's called being served "con mosca", which actually means "with flies", the prevailing wisdom being that passing flies would see a few of their dead brothers floating in the sweet liquid, and avoid it.

I had always heard from old Italians it was for luck. Whatever the reason it is still something I have to fish out of the glass with a fork so I order it without. The fire is just burning up perfectly good alcohol so I'm not interested in that either.

Well, they have a lot of flies there. I suppose any day one of them doesn't end up floating dead in your fucking Sambuca is probably a lucky one.

It's news because the editors knew that the mention of Four Loko would get attention.
