I've actually gotten out of a few tickets as well. I just pull over, am honest about what I was doing, and polite to the officer. Most of the time (not all of the time) if you respect them, they will respect you back.

I do the same.

When all of the above fails and you drive away with 3 tickets instead of the 1 you deserved, you feel disrespected.

so the inappropriate one's , were they opinion tickets? no changes lane safely or "hard" tickets like tags expired?
