Ill pay more to get what I want. I wont get he 1st gen iPad because it doesnt have what I want but I also have no interest in buying a netbook because it doesnt have what I want either. I do think the iPad user experience, from what Ive read, is more valuable than a built-in keyboard or the ability to remove the battery.

Wrong. Not having a memory card slot upsets a lot of people. Having a USB slot allows you to add on things. Some might want a usb mouse. What about a thumb drive? There are many reasons to have some of these features. Its easy to see once the koolaid clears.
