Whatever part time PETA-man.... Who's looking out for those chickens that you feed those dogs of yours? Maybe someone should start "Chicken Wars" and go around trying to stop the poultry industry from murdering the majestic chicken. Why is one animal so much more precious than another? I love how they show all the blood and what not when a whale is harpooned... If you want to see blood, mosey on up to your friendly local slaughter house on any given day. You may not like it but what the Japs are doing is LEGAL. Personally, I don't get it, what could make whaling worth their while is beyond me.... It's almost got to be some kind of research, I can't see them making any profit even if they were left alone... 50 whales a year= how much yen?

From what I understand they kill a lot more than 50 whales a year, but I still agree with you. There are lots of types of animals I wish weren't killed, but there are also plenty of animals I eat that others wish weren't killed. What makes my preference that the Japanese not kill whales to eat any more valid than a Hindu's preference that cows not be killed to feed me?

Dude, I grew up on a cattle ranch. Trips to the slaughterhouse twice a month since I was 6.

I thought that they have a "quota" or limit... Anyway, we kill millions of animals per year for food, clothing, convenience, etc but he no fair killing a few whales.
