Oh that has to suck...especially with what and who you have to deal with. Don't get me wrong...I know you have a rewarding career and should be commended for what you do but again...the knuckleheads you have to deal with sometimes.

We haven't had a winter in Toronto worth the name, since '98/'99. Even then we only got heavy snow for a few weeks. If we had a winter here like the ones we had when I was a kid, people here would think that the world was coming to an end.

True on both...wet snow and plenty of ice.

Not all of us are "weak" but there are enough that it just makes me shake my head. It's embarrassing to watch some of the locals freak and run to the store to buy bread and milk if they hear a flake is coming. The new cast/weather reports don't help either...

Severe Weather Center...and they will talk non stop about the possibility of an inch. He's actually talking about wind here but you get the picture.
