Roger, title 32 orders currently.
I'd like to know how, cause neither myself nor any of the full timers have been able to find a way.

call Tricare... you fall under TriWest if I remember correctly... so it's 1800Triwest. or call your local base (doesn't have to be army since your NG) probably Grand Forks and talk to them...

I'll try to do some research this week... but I've got a lot of out processing to catch up on... so I won't promise anything

as far as you taking vacation time to heal... that's bs... (if your in the military... which I forget if your military or dod civilian) they offer convalescence leave... that CAN be rejected by your commander... but he would be royally fucked if you had issues and there was no real reason, ie mission or manning, for you not to take a couple days off.
We're not "authorized" to do it. It's on our own time. We pay for it out of pocket. They have absolutely nothing to do with it.

We don't get sick leave for it. We probably could be granted special leave. But, you can get granted that for a family reunion if you try hard enough.

Canadian Forces btw..

I thought that corrective eye surgery was covered.

They cover lots of stuff, a buddy of mine just had some plastic surgury to get his ears to sit back because he looked like a furby. Plus they covered my visectomy.

Sorry but something about the furby reference was hilarious.

Medical, it's all covered.
Dental, everything but cosmetic
Vision. Glasses only (from what I have found)
