There are much better reasons out there for not permitting bottled water in schools than a lack of calories. Broken clock; right twice a day.

People are able to eat what they want and feed their kids what they want. Nutritional education is a good thing but it is no guarantee that individuals will ultimately make "correct" choices. Either way it is really none of my business what parents other than me choose to feed kids other than mine.

As for "how others view" us, most of the statistics I have seen give the UK's obesity rate at about 25% to America's rate of about 30%. The English really need to pull a bigger gap than that before stereotyping a nation.

I really don't give a fuck what Canadians or Brits think about the United States.

That's a common malady.

Kinda like walking around with your underwear on over your clothes.

The rest of the world is starting to stare, point, and laugh.

Everywhere is getting chubbier as the McDiet spreads around the world. Countries are trying to fight it, but it's creeping into every where. Basically the shit Europe and Canada have been talking about our fatasses is starting to lose it's meaning when the obesity gap is closing so that we are all getting fat now. They can still blame us for spreading that shitty food to them though.

I was watching Jaime on CNN at the gym a couple weeks before the show aired. They ran a sneak peek of an episode where a kid eats corn dogs, pizza, or chicken nuggets in some combination for all three meals a day. It was just gross. The video below is part of that CNN episode with AC. Skip to 2:45 if you want to see the mother of the kid.

It is pretty common internationally as well. From what I have seen the English don't much care about what we think of them. Really the EU can also be included in that. China obviously doesn't give a shit. Mexico actively encourages their citizens to illegally come across our borders for a "better" life so they are pretty much out. I think the only reason you all take notice is because of some inferiority complex that seems to have been institutionalized nationally to some degree.
