Yup, the PVC goes up and out of the house at a level right below the deck and then PVC out to the edge of the deck, from there it turns to sump pump hose out into the yard. it's flexable and easy to move. In the spring when my yard floods I add on to it to get the water out to the ditch. If I don't, the sump runs every 20 min because the ground is so saturated.

Sump pump hose, if you don't know what it is.

You don't go early enough then. You have to get there before they managers do before it opens. They run the Mexicans off.

Ok I've got a few of those type "hose endings" around the yard sticking out from hoses that have been buried so the one way out back must be for the sump pump then. The others are either drainage from the gutters and/or some retaining walls that we have on the property.

This is similar to what was at my old place. Pipe went from the sump pump through a hole in the wall of the basement and right out the side of the house connected to a hose where no one bothered to look. If you didn't know about it you never knew it was there.
