Why are you confused, it makes perfect sense. That's what ducati does, sell a similar product at a higher price, people buy it and say it has panache. Done deal. I guarantee you some asshats will buy this flash drive, too.

See the problem is, it isn't made my Ducati, so that alone makes it a piece of shit. It only carries the Ducati name(for a licensing fee of course). Real Ducati equipment is worth every penny.

Like?

Ducati themselves only really do motor bits. Everyone else does bits that carry the Ducati name. Ducati doesn't actually make the suspension, clutch (well, the better ones anyway), exhaust, wheels, etc. etc. etc.

Even with gear... it's Dainese, Suomy, AGV, etc...
