I know in my accident the insurance would only cover gear if the law required it... and even though I'm required to by military law... it wasn't covered... but the helmet was

I sugest... if the helmet hit the ground at all... claim it... you don't HAVE to replace it... but I would...

his helmet hit the ground. His shark held up well, and his jacket did too.

Thank god he had all his gear on.....
