Okay, well all of those options are options because all the others are too cold for me In fact, Atlanta really shouldn't be on the list because it's too cold there for me.

Single I am going with Las Vegas. But since Freddie Spencers school i sclosed and I am tied to my gal, Ft Worth would be my next stop. Texas has everything Ft Worth is clean, modern, and centrally located. BUT, since I am poor and without means to live where i want I gotta go with The Tater Whore Vagina option...

Las Vegas - we lived there when I was younger. I liked it. My mom hated it. No seasons. It was just hot every day. Having been there a few times in my adult life, I like it still, but it's hot as balls. There is the proximity to the coast though. Atlanta - I've ridden through Atlanta. There is GREAT riding less than an hour from downtown Atlanta. North Georgia is beautiful. My understanding is that year-round riding is mostly the case here. Jacksonville - Neebs lives there. That's all the reason you need to go to Jax. I enjoyed my stop there. Good wing places too! Phoenix - It's hot in the summer. Do you like sand and rocks in place of grass in your front yard? Did I mention it's hot? When I was there two years ago, I saw 101 at 8am, and 117 at 5pm. Ft. Worth - Hell, you live in Austin. I don't have to tell you about Ft. Worth. I can tell you the traffic sucks on Friday afternoons when I'm making way to Austin. If I had to make a decision out of your choices, I'd probably lean towards Atlanta or Jacksonville.

Atlanta is my choice.......It has a diverse economy, OK cost of living compared to other major cities, and good mixture of things to do. Course if you're going to live in the South I would rather live in Asheville or Raleigh.

I lived in Atlanta for 8 years, and came to call it home (having moved there from SoCal). I still miss it, though I don't miss the traffic. Your love (or hate) of Atlanta will be based solely upon where you live and your commute. If you work in the burbs and can live in the burbs, too, you'll love it. If you work downtown or midtown though, and live in the burbs, commuting will BLOW. Jacksonville is much more of a smalltown than Atlanta, but HUGE in terms of square miles - very spread out. We DO have year round riding, and we do have the beach. If you like boating, golf, outdoor stuff in general (and oh yeah, RIDING), then you'd love it here (but I have to warn you -- our roads are FLAT and STRAIGHT, which might take some getting used to coming from someplace with more texture to the landscape). We LOVED Vegas when we were there, but I dunno that I could live there. |

Even though I've never visited them I'd choose Atlanta becuase it's most of what I'm looking for. I'd look for a decent climate, culture, good mix of sports, growth, and the "scene".

I picked Jacksonville because I have always loved the area.
Atlanta, I've never really like the city or the outlining area. I might be in Phoenix by the end of the year... |
