I would say either a factory or a clymers. I used a clymers on a honda shadow lately and it was pretty good.

I took my factory dog manual and modified it. Adding a bunch of good things like a S&S engine manual, S&S super G carb manual, bdm diagnosis flow charts, spyke starter tips, ect... plus a new folder and cover sheets.

But then again I'm an organize freak... look what I did for all my reciepts!

And I know my writing is HORRIBLE!

Hey,Trip is it possible to make a section where everyone can download their manuals? Mine is already digital and would be no problem. Anyone else COULD scan and download theirs right? Hey J, I don't know if you are still monitoring this thread but I found your manual for FREE! So far I've downloaded it in Russian and German just for fun and I should have it in english by tomorrow. I advise anyone who doesn't have a service manual to check this shit out!http://www.repairmanualclub.com/ There's also about 10 other sites that I'm looking at and I'll let you know when I know,heck I even joined the Kawasaki Owner's Club to get the ZX7's manual in english!

Definitely go OEM. They are the ones who built your bike, they know how to fix it the best. OEM Manuals also don't cram several different models into one book, like a lot of the Chilton/Clymers do. Its much nice to just go to the carb section if you need to fix your carbs... not figure out which one of 10 different blow up schematics is your carb, on your model of bike, in this year, blah blah blah.

Yeah- my Kawi manual is lame. It has all the torque settings, but the pictures are bad, and while it has every place you're supposed to lube or loctite, it doesn't have a complete parts list! No part numbers anywhere. The wiring diagrams are a mess. I have to go to Bike Bandit or the like for exploded diagrams of fairings, clutch... everything

Pickle is right there... the aftermarket ones are usually more universal to a few different models. But then again, so is the actuall building of those bikes, hence why they are together.
