I didn't have a chance to get that close to the yellow line on the Dragon. Seems that day EVERYONE was taking up their 1/2 of my lane. I was a jibbering idiot when I finally got stopped by the lake in TN.

I'm not sure it's worn off even now!!!!

Just kidding, yea some jackasses seem to think that it's ok to pass other bikers in their lane and even push them wide/tight because they want to play ricky racer on public roads!

Probably didn't help that the only miles I had put on a bike before I got there was in FL. What the hell is a curve?

Hopefully we'll go back and I can take a good run on it and be prepared for all the curves.

The gap is something different, if you can't handle the crazy shit that goes on up there, stay off the road. No one is forced to ride that 11 miles.

BTW, beer is being served at the store now. It's going to be more fun this year.

There was a guy who jumped out in front of a semi on foot last fall in my area. Apparently the trucker had to give up the business because of the trauma.

Spending 4 years in the Ozarks has me a little seasoned for a trip to the Gap. I've learned that on every curve there is someone that wants your lane and know how to ride to avoid them.

No road is anyone's personal track, and those that treat the Dragon as such will find that out. Killboy makes a living off of it, and if everyone took your advice, he'd have to go back to being a squid.
