they chose to give me a free phone... i do'nt use it... I use the Nokia E71 that I bought seperately... its a much better wireless device than anything at&t offered..
And i'm a texting whore... averaging 3-5 thousand messages a month...I know it takes nothing for the carriers to carry messages across the network... but i do'nt mind since i figure i get my moneys worth wit has much as i text... I fuck em on data too.. unlimited packages rock if you use em right |

What they're saying is that texts piggy back on existing information already being sent. Whether your your text is there or not. It's still being sent. So, that part of it really is "free" to them.
