The $30 is in addition to your voice package right now. If you go with a package it's $79.99 for 450 mins and unlimited data..... Its really a good idea. I postwhore at my bar job sometimes and I get my e-mails right to my handset so if I get something with school, i have immediate access. The other thing i like is I can pull up and look at word docs too.... The 15% discount if you went with the $79.99 package is with the total 79. If you have the seperate packages it's only on your voice package not overall... That is only voice and umlimited e-mail/internet.... This doesn't include text messaging.

you can get around text messaging though.. if you have data you don't need it.. all the providers have this:

{phone number}@vtext.com

that is verizon - so I send an email "text" to a mobile phone and they hit reply and send a text "email" back to me - no additional charges.. texting is so 1999.. get with the future.. emailing texting is the future..

Do you have a data package on your plan then????? Cause to use that e-mail feature now, you still will accure what they call "data" charges. Unless you are with an old grandfather plan.... As of today verizon has seperated the usage to voice for voice calling. Text is text and anything besides those two are considered data and will accure data charges. There are still ways around it with the old plans if you have mobile e-mail on there. But mobile e-mail costs $5 a month. So you might be recieving charges and not even know it....

no i have unlimited data and 450 anytime minutes a month - $125 or something - company pays it so I don't know.. but they bitched at me about texts so i figured out the text emailing shit which is free (well no additional charge).. i can surf the net, email, etc. all i want.. and most of my peepz have verizon so 450 minutes (verizon to verizon calls don't count) are more than enough..

any new plan is free verizon to verizon.. Your plan is ripping you off hard core.... It should only be about $80.

yeah so what the fuck do i care? its their dime.. they piss away more money in a day then everyone on this forum makes in a year.. so if they pay $40 a month too much for my service oh fucking well.. and my bill is the lowest by a ton than the next bill - i get the bills to review every month and they show me everyone's to compare mine and my employees to.. my salesman have the highest bills by far.. they are usually up in the $1,000 range.. the company bitches i say um they are salesman what do you expect them to do? they talk on the fucking phone to the customer..
