Regardless I don't want to crash before Jennings I don't mind chilling a bit on the public roads. And wasn't trip saying we are going to have huge police issues? I hope we can get some good riding in...

ya know, it was my experience last year that no matter how slow or fast I went, it was still thrilling as hell and by far one of the coolest things I have ever done. If ya want some footage of you, I will be happy to try and keep up with ya and do it with your camera...i wouldnt mind some footage of me either, to see how I have improved...
Trip, that doesnt mean footage of my rear in the rain however!! |

Hopefully we can all get some hooliganism footage of eachother. This weekend I'll brainstorm a way to mount it so it can be easily removed I hope.

i know a guy who set up a mount on the frame slider bolt, it worked pretty good as far as I can recall but it was a completely different kind of camera. |

I think I'd like to mount it right in the front like in the picture above, but I might run the wire from it to the tail section. Back in the tail is supposedly the best place to mount the microphone, and it's easy to get to so I could put the recorder and the battery pack there as well.
Also, in the tail the recorder wouldn't distract me or be in the way like if I were to mount it up near the handlebars like I've seen some people do.

There's always velcro or magnets. Much more professional than duct tape "Quack quack!"

It did... I mounted the lens up front and the batteries, recorder, and mic in the tail. Thing worked awesome.
