Ladies, how much of this is true?

Women should put the seat up for us, that way we don't piss on it because we don't feel like putting it up.

While I don't quite 'get' the big deal, the toilet seat is definitely one of those pick-your-battles kinda things.
Why shouldn't women have to raise it when they're done, so we don't have to in order to avoid peeing all over the seat (a far more distressing condition, IMO), hmmmm?... whatever - "Yes ma'am, I'll try to do better and never forget it."

I figure I'm the one scrubbing that toilet seat (thank gawd my hubby has good aim) and the entire rest of the bathroom, he can darn well put the seat down for me. I dont however say anything about it, unless I have indeed had an incident.

I think toilet seats should come a foot controller that a man could just step on, lifts the seat, then steps off and lowers the seat. Problem solved.

I think because it sounds "old" that I don't like it. Like something my Dad or Grandpa would say when referring to their, um, "lady friend".

I've actually done this before. I leave it however I find it, although habit has me put the lid down too. I have dogs and don't want the drinking out of their since I put cleaners and such in. Erik has his own bathroom, so not a big deal. Not a big deal either way though.

As for the rest of them, I don't think most apply to me.
