Carrot Top used some other compounds, that were more like implants. But I'm sure he's used simply because he's a washed up and he has no concerns on getting called out for it.

There is that. Also, I would guess the extreme feeling of entitlement and distorted self image that enable someone to justify lying about being a decorated combat veteran (Its OK because if I was there I would have totally kicked ass anyway) are probably tied to the belief that they are superior to begin with because of race. Even while that individual is personally doing dirtbag things, which are completely justified in his/her mind, he/she sees others doing dirtbag things that he/she believes he/she is completely incapable of doing and may blame it on race. It is all part of the same warped self image.
