When I put the trunk on the back, I usually dismount by throwing my leg in front over the tank. I was in a hurry (had to go to the bathroom

) and lightly kicked it getting off the bike not paying attention. Since it was dry rotting, it snapped easy.

I honestly don't think I'd be able ot throw my foot over the front of the bike

I don't think I'd have the coordination
