My Fiance's mother has one and that bird is the most obnoxious thing ever. I hate that bird with every fiber of my body... The thing Is loud as hell you cant even carry on a conversation anywhere in the house when that thing is squawking, if you don't pay attention to them they make as much noise as they can, and if you dont pay enough attention to them in general they start self mutilating themselves by plucking their own feathers. The bird my future mother-in-law owns hates men with a passion so when ever it sees me it attacks me. There is nothing special about this bird though they all do the head banging and dancing around thing on their own will its nothing that was taught to that bird.

My best buddy in HS's mom had this fucking African Gray thing... Supposedly the smartest of all these retarded birds... You'd pick up the phone and hear the dial tone.... and hear the phone still ringing... and realize the fucking bird was making the noise. God damnit was that thing annoying. Every time you'd cover it's cage it would squawk, "lights out simon" over and over again... We tried teaching it a string of obscenities, but were too stoned and lazy all the time to a) follow up with it and b) remember the exact phrase... It did get pretty good at saying 'fuck you bird'...

She's been a pistol lately... they are ALLOT of work. Which reminds me I need to go buy it some more stuff to destroy from Pet's Smart. If you don't she eats everything she can get her beak on. Which lately has been her house cover and the blinds!!! I wanted to kill her the other day for some of that!! They are a tough pet to have. Require constant attention like a dog that does similar. but its feathered.

I used to have a Red Lori and that bird was loud as hell we kept it on the back porch alot and when you would pull in the neighborhood you could hear it sqwaking. all the way at the entrance. anyways my dad taught it to cuss and when ever you would talk to it he would either say shut the fuck up sqwak. or dumbass. every now and then he tell you to stop being a damn bitch. it was hilarious. not so much though when we would have guests over and he would be yelling it out. but he was cool. this is what he looked like.
