Most places have a 20 degree difference between the average high and average low. But Denver has a 30 degree difference: http://www.weather.com/outlook/trave...omnav_vacation. Makes for good sleeping weather in the summer. But it's semi-arid here, so it's a dry cold in the winter.

AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE WILL MOVE NORTH ALONG THE MID ATLANTIC COAST SATURDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT. THIS SYSTEM HAS THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS ACROSS THE WATCH AREA... ESPECIALLY ALONG AND EAST OF THE I-81 CORRIDOR. THE HIGHEST POTENTIAL FOR ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL BE FROM SATURDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH EARLY SUNDAY MORNING.
