Too funny. I use to work in a call center for a financial company. People would call because they were having problems with the web browser. Same fucking thing. They'd go to google and type in the name of the company (sometimes mis-spelling it) and couldn't understand why they weren't getting on the site. So much fun walking those people through using the site, step by step by step by step by step. The worst is when they barely even know how to operate their computer, let alone try to go somewhere on the web.
I still remember trying to get a guy to set up a link to his checking account. Me: Alright, go to step 2 Him: There is no step 2, there are only 4 steps. Me: I literally sat there in silence. |

Ya, this is nothing new. Some of the questions my family asks about the internet and computers in general is pretty funny. I trip over my own words often because I don't know how to make it any simpler than I already do. What's really frustrating is that sometimes it takes so long to explain something that I end up getting confused in the end.
