backpack.
only 'cause that's all i know, and trips to work are only about 30 or so miles round trip. haven't been on any trips long enough to require any lugage.

depends on what i'm taking and how long... short trip... with lots of stops... and valuables... it'll be the backpack every time...
long trip... few stops... or shit I don't care too much about... tank bag... but as I don't have a tank bag that'll work on the DRZ yet... BACK PACK! |

Tank bag because it is easier to get on and off. Although I don't like it if we are going for a spirited ride because it gets in my way for tucking. I think it's because of 1.) the design of my bike and 2.) my size that it gets in my way.

Backpacks get way too uncomfortable after any appreciable amount of distance.

Tank bag always. But mine is small. So I often take a back pack if I need to carry more than phone and wallet.

Tankbag. I don't like the restriction of backpack straps. The bike's paint isn't exactly perfect either so I'm not too worried about the paint.

I wore a backpack for my job, I'm not gonna wear one on my bike. I just replaced the strapped-down tankbag on the Suzuki with a magnetic bag that's twice as big. Custom tankbag and saddlebags from RKA that match the Honda's colors.
