If people would stop using their phones as a main internet line, they wouldn't cap you.

Read in an article today that they are planning on doing the same as AT&T and putting a 2GB cap, with an extra 10 dollars charged for each additional gig of data you use. Also, 90 bucks a month for 450 minutes, unlimited text and unlimited data.

This is bullshit. I pay for service, then because I'm using it you're going to give me less of it? And if your network isn't up to specs, maybe instead of punishing your customers you could just upgrade the fucking network? Yeah, there's a novel idea, invest some of the fortune I pay for service into your infrastructure.

I have the discount off my bill but I didnt know they had phone discounts.

Also, the rumor is that LTE/4G data will be 29.99 for "unlimited" but I wouldnt be surprised if that 29.99 was in addition to the 29.99 3G fee.

It's crazy the amount of money we spend on cell phone plans. My landline + long distance bill was never this much per month. However, we now feel like we have to have the damn phone with us all of the time. Granted, payphones are damn near non-existent anymore. I've lowered my plan to the lowest minutes I can get by with, but it's still too damn expensive for my taste. Would love to have an i-phone or droid, but no way am I paying close to $100 per month for service.

With T-mobile I pay just about $100 per month for the cheapest internet able service I could get, and unlimited texts. I used 132 minutes between the 3 phones last month, all on my daughters phone (thank you google voice or it would be hundreds more). I don't have a land line, and the phone was used as a wifi hot spot when the power went out a few times from snow. The phone also serves as my GPS, camera, and general all around mobile entertainment center.
