I only buy HF stuff that I wont use all the time. That being said my $10 heat gun has been used a shit ton and it's still great.

Exactly... I think I got my t-handles for free anyway... I wouldn't buy their stuff for daily use, but for something that's going to be used here and there or light duty application, fuck spending 2-10x as much for even the Craftsman alternative...

That thing looks like it's designed to break.

I wouldn't buy it from either one of those places, even if it is made of rust free aluminum...

I have not had the best luck with HF stuff either. Brought home a chain breaker from there and the chain effed it up royally.

I bought 2 traielrs from them with no issues and I never greased the bearrings on my first one. Bought soem wrenches and soem allen sockets from them that have held up rather well, also got some bits for removing bearrings and installing races that seemed to work ok but you can tell were cheaply made.
