Do they even make a diesel GTI?

I looked at a GTI and went with the Volvo instead... personal preference.

No......and I don't think you'd want one, because of the torque curve that falls on its face after 3 or 4K. It just wouldn't suit a car like that, IMO.

Plus they'd probably ask $30K for it.

Yeah, its got tons of torque, but if it can't rev then it's not getting a good quarter mile time

Street. It was gonna be a Spec E30 but I liked driving it on the street so much I painted it. Those are Dunlop Direzza Star Specs. I don't think anyone has run Comp T/As since the 90s
