Testament is mostly like that, the demonic album is mostly cookie monster lyrics but the rest of the stuff is good thrash. I am not up on the newer exodus so I cant say.

You may be more into the last 2 or 3 In Flames albums versus their older stuff. There is much more singing in the newer stuff than the older.

That song is from "A Sense of Purpose". Most songs have that same feel.

For Maylene and the Sons of Disaster I'd start with III and work backwards.

EDIT: You might actually like Maylene's new one IV. It's not heavy. This song is the opening track...and by FAR the heaviest (and best, IMO) song on the whole album:
