They look similar, here is the gsx650f
Its a GS500F, you can tell because when the bike is spinning behind the guy you can clearly see a 1 piece seat and the same graphics as trip showed

The GS500F and GSX650F both have 1 piece seats. Could be either of them. The pic above is the 650.

Yea I rode with a couple guys last Summer that talked and talked about how fast they are, etc. So I took them out on the back roads for a couple hours, funny they never called to go riding ever again... I think I waited on those guys at every turn MORE than we waited for Rogue at the Rally.
