The 13 yo kid did testify, at his last trial. It wasnt his choice to take the money, it was his parents. He paid him off because he was guilty.

He didnt take so much heat over her age I think, it was more over her being his first cousin.. And she was underage at the time... 14 was the legal age of consent then (just read about it)
