Were these alterations just for your comfort or were they because the suit came all messed up?

The armor pockets were because the material they originally used was a little weak. Since the time I ordered my suit, they changed to a stronger material, so I was getting that replaced.

The legs were for my comfort. They actually have an option to leave the legs unhemmed, but I didn't know about it, and even if I had probably wouldn't have thought it would be an issue. Since the liner is removable, there is velcro that holds it in place at the bottom of the legs right were the hem is. That made it very thick in that area. This made it hard to get my boots zipped up, and after riding all day the leather left marks on my legs. So I had them let the hem out and shorten the legs.
