That can be a factor...also who is telling you to get the "muffler bearings"? When I first joined the Army,I was extra stupid! My Dad died when I was young and I had some hit or miss mechanical aptitude (I could disassemble and reassemble complex systems rather well) but I had almost ZERO actual KNOWLEDGE of mechanics,tools,terminology,etc. The Drill Sargents would send me after ALL KINDS OF SHIT!
