I noticed one thing at Denny's, that I never saw at Waffle House; the outside seat in the booths is always sprung, right down to the boards.

Maybe that doesn't happen at Waffle house because there's one every block, so the fatties just move on when they start to break the seats?

I've never been to a Dennys. I have been to the awful house, but that was at like 4am and we needed sober up waffles.

My ex-husband used to eat waffle house like it was going out of style. I can't stand their food anymore. Particularly not when we've got Kerbey Lane and Magnolia Cafe here.

The last denny's near us went belly up a few months ago. Most of em get converted into jersey diners though so its all good.

Their waffles aren't as good as, say, a Belgian waffle, IMO. I'm just not a huge fan of the kind of batter they use. I'd rather make my own.

We always went to Perkins instead of Dennys. They have awesome pie at Perkins. Peanut Butter Silk was delicious.
