I took my daughter to my parent's house Wed to swim. The cover has been off the pool for a week, but since there hasn't been any rain, the water was 92 degrees. It really sucks when jumping in the pool doesn't even cool you off.

I want to jump in but my skin may fall off with all the chemicals we have churning through there LOL When i was cleaning out the skimmers the water felt prety cool but the pool isnt in that much direct sunlight for the whole day either.

What the heck are you putting in there?

Our 20X40 inground was 78 degrees earlier in the week. Will have to see what it is now. All the pollen in the air has kept the deep end cloudy still and I'm tired of effing around with it.

I was looking forward to the low 50s up in Prudhoe Bay when we get there, but 2 days ago they had 71 degrees! WTF!

It's 101F as I type this....it's been 100+ for 2...maybe 3 weeks straight?

The corn crop in this area is a total loss....the wheat crop was marginal, at best....the town I live in has mandatory water restrictions in place as the supply is dangerously low. Not sure how this story is gonna end if it doesn't rain, a lot, SOON.

We're in a similar predicament. Lake Travis is at something like 20ft below normal levels. We've had a few spits of rain once or twice in as many months.
