I came home from work and he was making me steak and lobster on the grill outside on our back porch. We have a huge field in our backyard, and we recently put up our xmas lights on our house, so he took me out to the field on a h...ill so that I could "look at the lights on our house from the field and see how pretty they were." Then, from the corner of my eye, I saw something light up, and looked on the field, and in it, there were white christmas lights that said "Will you marry me?" And he got down on one knee and asked me.

I think it was already done by a designer. I have NO idea by who, but we looked at a few rings that looked similar to the one I have too. They had different diamond shapes and such...I think he picked all that stuff out on his own

Awwwwww!! I didnt know he had it in him to be so romantic! That is awesome, and the ring is GORGEOUS!

ONSSP, if you are interested, start a wedding thread in the ladies section, I know we have plenty of ladies who don't make it in here who would love to hear all about it, and can offer you info and advice if needed without the cattiness you might find elsewhere.
