sounds like it's time for a party at your place - who cares if there are spills?

If they're gonna screw you , might as well get your moneys worth

More like $400 and then $800 out of pocket. I spoke to one of the girls at the leasing office and she told me new carpet for 844sq apt is $1200. of course not 844sq is carpeted because there is not carpet in the kitchen, bathroom and entrance. I told her that the laws here say that even if i were responsible for damages that it should be prorated for the life of the carpet. She was like yeah, don't forget to mention that then if they charge you. I'm like WTF? So if i didn't mention that i wouldnt have gotten screwed? Either i am going to fight it.

So

The carpet cleaning people just left. They lifted my carpet and cleaned the back too and everything came out really easy. So i don't know what the hell they are talking about that if there are stains in the back i need new carpet, because it was pretty freaking easy to clean. and they stretched and banged the carpet back in place, the place looks great.

I just went and took a bunch of pictures as proof!

Hans quit being a dork..!!!!..The removed the carpet and steamed cleaned the backside. They may have even replaced a piece of the padding, but prolly not.
