Had a Yosh RS3 on a Bandit 1200 and it wasn't a whole lot louder than stock. It couldn't even be heard over my friend's VTR1000, with twin Hindle "Stealth" carbon slip-ons.

Not really. There's "standard" style or short style for the 600/750. The short styles still have a decent amount of packing, but they normal ditch the catalytic converters.
Short http://stores.sportbiketrackgear.com/Detail.bok?no=3684 "Regular" http://stores.sportbiketrackgear.com/Detail.bok?no=3683 However people like to shorten their regular length mufflers, they leave out alot of packing thus increasing the sound. |

Yea and I totally mis-wrote that line.... I was trying to say that I gave up on D&D on my '01 GSXR and went to Yosh but even that is false because I ran Yosh on my '00 Hayabusa so...Anyway, I gave up on D&D because the noise levels were well beyond tolerable IMHO.

Diff. btw harleys and sportbikes...
A sportbike can sit at a stoplight without being a nuisance. Not so with a harley with pipes. |

Good thing I never plan on going to Cali.
The Drummer is... less than quiet. Granted, I don't think they could ticket you if your tags are from out of state. |
