I'm really not liking what Microsoft is trying to sell me. I may switch to Sony, I may just use my PC. But, I really do not think I will buy an Xbox One.

The fact that I need to have Kinect hooked up and running at all times is reason enough to not buy.

Yeah, I worked at Best Buy long enough to know how to scam that replacement plan system because they scam the fuck out of people with it all the time. If you know there is a good likelihood that a new version could possibly replace the old version within plan's life, It's a good system to work if the price of the plan is not that bad. They have gotten better about spotting deliberate damage, but you can still pull it on them pretty easily. They aren't like Microsoft who will just send you a refurbished version of what you sent them if you go through warranty, they will give you a new one from their stock. They will usually give you dollar for dollar what you invested, so if you want a higher priced one, you have to cough out the remaining cash on it though.

I have liked Microsoft since the xbox came out, I want nothing to do with them since they are going to a must be connected to the net to play single player games and pay for usage of used games/can't play games friends bring over. Shit just isn't right.

I probably won't go PS4, I think I will just stick to steam.

Apparently Sony also has a system to track used games as well. Supposedly they're taking a hint from the feedback MS is getting and shelving it. They didn't mention an always connected machine, but I guess it would have to be to track the games. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Its gonna sale, just like any other item out there. Millions will bitch about a product, but yet they still buy it.

Oh no doubt it will sell, but it won't get me lined up to preorder or buy it early. I take my 360 with me on the road sometimes and I don't need this always connected bullshit.
